This was a great fast paced romance. I loved the characters they are fun and the storyline was fantastic. If you love a great romance with amazing characters action adventure and romance with a HEA then this story is for you.
A new author for me and a wonderful book! I enjoyed this story set in a time period you don't usually read about. I learned some Aztec history while I read a steamy romance with quite a bit of danger thrown in. Great read! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a good short story that was hard to put down.
The book was very descriptive and detailed with the scenery, spankings, love making, and had some very graphic descriptive war scenes in the 1500's with the Battle of the Aztecs and the Spanish army lead by Cortez. This was based on some real history and this was in 1519, two years before the Aztecs were taken out of existence. There was a lot of spankings and good sex and great history but fictional scenes with the spankings and sex scenes but Cortez was a real person in history but had some fictional scenes which made the story a very good fun read.
A must read if you like ancient history or not with plenty of spanking and sex but some of it had some detailed violence because of the Aztecs and Cortez and his Spanish soldiers.
I really enjoyed reading this book, I read it over my lunch hour. I will read more by this author. Loved Ayala and her general.
