As stated in the title this book it is for beginners. If you have been away from TIG Welding and are rusty or are coming in from other methods like MIG, Stick, oxy acetylene this book could also be of benefit. The ideal reader has good aptitude, eye hand coordination, safety conscious, a positive outlook and a can do attitude.
This book is written from the perspective of someone who knows the frustrations of learning to TIG weld and how to overcome it.
If your mid to expert level at TIG welding then this book IS NOT FOR YOU. There are other books on advanced methods available from other authors.
If your pessimist, critic or looking for advanced level material please move on to another title.

Although not a terrible book, it is geared to the welder that knows absolutely nothing about TIG welding. Simply put, it should be a good first chapter in a more robust book about TIG welding. There is no explanation about machine settings, waveforms, or balance. Neither is there an explanation about the differences in filler rods, the pros and cons of different tungsten alloys, or even what a proper puddle size is. In my opinion, all of this is information a beginner needs to know, especially when learning at home without major frustration. Watch 3 youtube videos on welder setup, running a bead, and common materials and you will have effectively out paced this book.
Should have had someone proofread it before publishing. I had to stop reading it due to the poor english.

Interesting read but not enough useful detail
This book is poorly written with rudimentary information. I would be embarrassed to put out a book with the editing issues this book has. It pissed me off I paid for it.
You need a better proof reader!
Great read, and very informative for a short work. In the version, I really liked the links to products the author describes. Anyone wanting to get an overview of Tig welding would benefit from reading this book.
